“Nobody’s a natural. You work hard to get good and then work to get better. It’s hard to stay on top.”
― Paul Coffey
You’re already your own boss… And you’re probably not very good at your job.
I mean, think about it. You doubt yourself. You do a lousy job of developing yourself. You waste your time. You’re always distracting yourself. You’re harsh on your mistakes and you never think you’re good enough.
If that was how your manager at work treated you, how long would it be until you quit? Not long, I’m sure.
So how can you be a better self-boss? How about treating yourself with respect? Maybe show a little confidence in yourself too.
A good boss can challenge you to greatness and guide you to success. If you can learn and master that level of self-leadership and self-management, nothing can hold you back.
